Coeus and Kuali Coeus Demonstrations

On Sunday afternoon sessions are intended to provide a basic overview of the Coeus and Kuali Coeus products for those new to the systems and a refresher for others. This will provide a level-set for all attendees prior to more specific topics during the remainder of the conference.   Attendees will watch as experts from Coeus and Kuali Coeus walk through the core functionality of each module, highlighting the similarities and differences between the products. This side-by-side comparison will be especially helpful to current Coeus institutions beginning to plan for their conversion to Kuali Coeus.
 
Each session will start at 1PM and be approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes in length.  You will have the opportunity to attend up to two sessions during the afternoon.  Sessions are expected to be offered on each core module including Proposal, Award, IRB, COI and IACUC.  An additional session will provide an orientation to the Kuali Coeus Community model and describe the opportunities for your institution to join the consortium as well as the processes we use to support the community and continually improve the product.

Lunch with a Sponsor

Our corporate sponsors are a critical component of the Kuali Coeus User Conference - they not only provide financial support, but also their expertise in the KC product and assistance in institution implementations.  There will be multiple opportunities to interact with a representatives from the sponsors during the sessions,  breaks and other social events at the conference.  We have also created a more structured opportunity we are calling “Lunch with a Sponsor”.  At lunch on Monday, April 23, look for a table with a sponsor’s name and logo to join in a sit-down conversation with one of our sponsors.
